The Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, Epe Branch, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, held its monthly special prayer session, birthday celebration for members, and a pre-Ramadan lecture, emphasizing spiritual and physical preparation for the upcoming holy month.
Ekohotblog gathers that the event, hosted by Mr. Lasisi Isiaka, featured a special Asalatu session led by the branch’s Missioner, Sheikh Nureni Olatunji.

During the prayer session, Sheikh Olatunji prayed for the progress and prosperity of the society and its members.
In his lecture, Sheikh Olatunji highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time for self-discipline, reflection, and heightened devotion.
He urged Muslims to prepare themselves spiritually and physically for the holy month, stressing the importance of steadfastness in faith throughout Ramadan and beyond.
He stated, “Ramadan is not just a time to abstain from food and drink; it is an opportunity to purify the soul, strengthen one’s faith, and build a closer relationship with Allah. We must approach it with sincerity and commitment.”
The event also included the celebration of birthdays for members born in February. One of the celebrants,expressed her gratitude for the society’s continuous support and dedication to the growth of Islam and the welfare of its members.
“The love and unity within this society are truly remarkable. Celebrating my birthday with fellow members has been a joyous and spiritually uplifting experience,” she remarked.
