APC National Secretariat Director Abducted by Unknown Gunmen

- Adeniji was appointed National Secretariat Director of administration in August 2024, following the resignation of his predecessor, Prof. Alaba Adediwura.
- Official channels, including the APC National Secretariat and security agencies, have yet to release any statements regarding the incident.

Dr. Adekunle Raif Adeniji, Director of Administration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja, was reportedly kidnapped two weeks ago in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to sources familiar with the situation.
Eko Hot Blog reports that according to Sahara Reporters his abductors are said to be demanding a ransom of ₦350 million for his release.

Official channels, including the APC National Secretariat and security agencies, have yet to release any statements regarding the incident.
Adeniji was appointed to his current position in August 2024, following the resignation of his predecessor, Prof. Alaba Adediwura. His appointment was formally announced through a letter issued by the party’s National Secretary.
In a related incident, retired Brigadier-General Maharazu Tsiga, a former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was reportedly kidnapped last Wednesday night by armed men who stormed his residence in Katsina State.
According to reports, the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of ₦250 million for his release.
