The individuals elevated include High Chief Akeem Adewoyin, Chief Kola Babalola, and High Chief Sharafadeen Alli, who currently represents Oyo South Senatorial District and is also an APC governorship aspirant.
Notably, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, alongside the newly elevated chiefs and several prominent Ibadan indigenes, were absent from the event.

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare, the APC condemned the exercise, accusing the governor of undermining traditional values.
The party described the development as embarrassing, alleging that the ceremony lacked proper representation and respect for established customs.
According to Sadare, the governor’s actions have negatively impacted his legacy, insisting that there was no valid justification for the manner in which the installations were carried out.
