EKO HOT BLOG reports that the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate warned that, without action, future generations would face severe consequences. “We need a new movement to correct the situation. If we do not act now, our children will become slaves in their father’s land,” he said, highlighting the country’s lack of progress.
Atiku also revealed that he would soon publicly address national issues and clarify his political stance. He urged his supporters to remain patient and assured them that he would soon break his silence on the current state of the nation. “It is not yet time for me to speak on the politics of the country, but very soon, I will speak out on my political position and the other wrongdoings happening in the country,” Atiku explained.
The former vice president called on Nigerians to remain vigilant and continue working towards the nation’s best interests, describing the proposed new movement as a potential savior for the country.
Senator Ishaku Abbo, the convener of the coalition meeting, echoed Atiku’s sentiments, reaffirming that Atiku remained their political leader, regardless of party affiliations. “The former vice president, you are our party, you are our logo; anywhere you go, we will follow you,” Abbo declared, further solidifying Atiku’s leadership role, especially during his eight years as vice president.
Abbo’s endorsement was met with widespread support from the attendees, which included representatives from all 21 local government areas of Adamawa State, as well as aides from the All Progressives Congress (APC), including those loyal to 2023 governorship candidate Senator Aishatu Binani.

Atiku Coalition Meeting
In a surprising development, one of Senator Binani’s aides confirmed her involvement in the coalition. Speaking anonymously, the aide indicated that despite her other commitments, Binani was aligned with the coalition and would attend future meetings. “For you to see me here, it is very clear that my principal is among the coalition team. You see other members of the APC who are her supporters here,” the aide said, suggesting a possible shift in political allegiance. Binani’s aide further assured that she would attend the next meeting.
