The meeting, which included political heavyweights like Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe and Victor Umeh, focused on cross-regional collaboration.
Governor Mohammed noted that while the “i’s and t’s” of their strategic discussions remain confidential, the overarching goal is to unify the opposition into a formidable platform.
He remarked that the current state of political uncertainty might actually serve to strengthen the opposition’s chances by forcing a more cohesive realignment.

Peter Obi clarified that his visit to Bauchi was not a recruitment drive for the African Democratic Congress but a mission to foster national cooperation.
“We are inviting ourselves to build a better Nigeria,” Obi stated, dismissing rumors of an imminent party switch.
This engagement is part of a series of strategic consultations by Governor Mohammed, who has been hosting leaders from across the political spectrum to explore new alliances.
