BREAKING: Buhari Makes Fresh Appointment
- President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, requested the Senate approval of Hon. Justice Salisu Garba as the acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), High Court.
- Garba was earlier in January, this year, sworn-in as acting Chief Judge of FCT High Court by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Hon. Justice Tanko Muhammad.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, requested the Senate approval of Hon. Justice Salisu Garba as the acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), High Court.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, made the disclosure while reading Buhari’s letter of request at the plenary on Tuesday.
Garba was earlier in January, this year, sworn-in as acting Chief Judge of FCT High Court by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Hon. Justice Tanko Muhammad, following the retirement of Justice Ishaq Bello.
Garba hails from Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.
