Rose Idibia, mother of veteran singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has publicly pleaded with Nigerians to intervene and urge Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, to leave her son alone.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a viral video shared on Thursday evening, Mrs. Idibia expressed concern over 2Face’s emotional state, citing his ongoing divorce from his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.

“My son is going through a divorce and is not in his right senses. I know my son, and this is not him. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg Natasha to free him. Please, Natasha, remove the beads you placed on his hand and neck and let him go,” she pleaded.

Meanwhile, a separate viral video surfaced the same day showing 2Face proposing to Osawaru. The clip captured the singer presenting a ring to the lawmaker as they danced and shared a long embrace, fueling widespread reactions.

This development follows 2Face’s public confirmation of his relationship with Osawaru, just a day after his separation from Annie Idibia. Speculation had been growing after he was spotted at the Edo State Assembly and later seen with Osawaru at a Lagos club.

Addressing the controversy on Instagram, 2Face dismissed rumors that Osawaru played a role in his marital issues.

“Hon. Natasha has been unfairly called a home breaker. She had nothing to do with what happened between Annie and me. Yes, I love her, she is amazing, and I want to marry her,” he stated.
