The court set specific conditions for their release, including the payment of N500,000 each and the submission of their verified National Identification Numbers (NIN) to the court registrar.

Additionally, the defendants are required to present their three-year tax clearance certificates and surrender their passports to the court.
The arrests occurred during demonstrations in the Federal Capital Territory advocating for Kanu’s release, which had drawn national attention and criticism from legal practitioners and IPOB supporters.
Sowore himself was previously arrested on Thursday at the Federal High Court while showing support for Kanu during one of his court appearances.
Nnamdi Kanu is currently standing trial on terrorism-related charges filed by the Federal Government following his arrest in Kenya.
