BREAKING: WAEC releases 2024 WASSCE results

The West African Examinations Council has announced the release of the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates.

The announcement was shared in a post on X, stating, “The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform all candidates who took the WASSCE for school candidates in 2024 that the results have officially been released today, Monday, August 12, 2024.”

How to Check WAEC Results for 2024

Method 1: Online

1. Visit the Official WAEC Results Checker:
   • Access the WAEC result checking website.
2. Enter Your Examination Details:
   • Input your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
   • Select “2024” from the Examination Year dropdown menu.
   • Choose the appropriate examination type (e.g., PRIVATE CANDIDATES RESULTS or SCHOOL CANDIDATES RESULTS).
3. Enter Your e-PIN Information:
   • Provide the e-PIN Voucher Number and PIN in the respective fields. (For information on obtaining your e-PIN voucher, refer to the WAEC website).
4. Submit and View Your Results:
   • Click on “Submit” and your WAEC 2024 results will appear on the screen, showing your grades for each subject.
   • You can print out your results for your records.

Method 2: Via SMS

1. Create a New SMS:
   • Open your messaging app and start a new message.
2. Enter Your Exam Details:
   • In the message body, type your details in the format: WAECExamNoPINExamYear (without spaces).
   • Example: If your Exam Number is 4800101221, PIN is 123456789012, and the year is 2024, you would type: WAEC48001012211234567890122024.
3. Send the SMS:
   • Send the message to shortcode 32327 (available for MTN, Airtel, and Glo subscribers only).
4. Receive Your Results:
   • Wait for a reply with your WAEC 2024 results. Note that a service charge of ₦30 may apply, depending on your network provider.
