A pregnant woman, identified as Msendoo Iorlumun, has delivered a set of twin boys in the bush while on her way to a health facility in Benue State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the incident reportedly occurred on Friday as the expectant mother was trekking from Jotar to the Abaki Health Clinic in Mbangur when she suddenly went into labour.

According to an eyewitness, Baba Igba Igba, the woman had set out in search of medical care but became too weak to continue the journey as labour intensified.
She was eventually forced to deliver the babies near St. Pius Catholic Church in Abaki Mbangur, without immediate medical assistance.
Despite the challenging conditions, both the mother and her newborn twin boys were reported to be safe, sparking relief and gratitude among members of the community.
“We thank God for her safety and the safe delivery of the twins,” the eyewitness said..
The incident has once again drawn attention to the difficulty residents in rural communities face in accessing healthcare, often having to travel long distances before reaching medical facilities.
Residents have since congratulated the mother, describing the experience as both challenging and miraculous.
