ECOWAS Community Members Pay Courtesy Visit to Hon. Olowa

Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), accompanied by Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) Olivia, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, today.

Ekohotblog reports that Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Olowa commended the ECOWAS members for their exemplary conduct and adherence to the laws of the land.

He noted that Ibeju-Lekki is a peaceful and well-organized community and urged them to continue maintaining decorum.

“I appreciate you all for being law-abiding residents of Ibeju-Lekki. It is important that we continue to live in peace and harmony, respecting the values and traditions of our host communities,” Hon. Olowa stated.

He further charged them to guide their fellow ECOWAS nationals in the right direction and ensure that they contribute positively to the growth of the area.

“As a community that thrives on decency and unity, I urge you to be ambassadors of peace and good behavior.

Also, if you notice any criminal elements among you, do not hesitate to report them to the relevant authorities. We must work together to keep our environment safe,” he added.

On behalf of the visiting ECOWAS members, Alex Efford from Ghana expressed gratitude to the chairman for his warm reception and pledged their commitment to upholding the law and fostering peaceful coexistence.

Other members of the delegation included David Attah from Ghana, Saidu Abdulkarim from Niger, Adamu Yahaya, Ahmadu Nura, Abdullahi Shado, Zakariya Ahmed, and Mustapha Daudu.
