The Epe Local Government has commenced the screening exercise for its 2026 Bursary Award Scheme, with a large number of applicants turning out on the opening day, reflecting the growing confidence of students in the council’s educational support initiative.

The impressive turnout highlighted the enthusiasm of students to benefit from the bursary programme, which is aimed at easing the financial burden of education and supporting academic excellence among indigent students in Epe Local Government.
The initiative is one of the educational interventions of the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to promoting quality education, empowering young people and investing in human capital development.
