EPL: Chelsea Beat West Ham 3-0, Advance To Second On Table
Chelsea opened the scoring just four minutes in, capitalizing on a momentary lapse in West Ham’s defence during a free-kick.
Jadon Sancho seized the opportunity to release Jackson down the left flank, and the forward left Edson Alvarez in his wake before cutting inside and sliding a low shot through Alphonse Areola’s legs.

The Hammers’ defensive frailties were exposed once again 14 minutes later. Moises Caicedo, given ample time, played a precise pass to the speedy Jackson, who outpaced Max Kilman and coolly finished with the outside of his boot, leaving Areola stranded.
Chelsea effectively sealed the win two minutes into the second half. In a fast-paced counterattack, Jackson turned creator, deceiving the retreating West Ham backline with a clever reverse pass. Cole Palmer latched onto the ball and blasted it past Areola to extend the lead.
West Ham’s frustrations were compounded earlier when a strong penalty appeal, reviewed by VAR, was waved away after Crysencio Summerville went down in a clash with Wesley Fofana.

Mohammed Kudus had the ball in the net just before halftime, only to be ruled offside, while Jarrod Bowen forced a solid near-post save from Robert Sanchez in the second half.
Chelsea’s victory moves them to within two points of Premier League leaders Manchester City, while West Ham remain stuck in the bottom half, just three points clear of the relegation zone.
