The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Mo fensuru Akinloye, on Thursday led an inspection team to Odogbawojo for an on-the-spot assessment of the long-neglected Odogbawojo Road.
He was accompanied by his Vice Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, and other council officials.
Eko Hot Blog reports that speaking during the visit, Hon. Akinloye assured residents that the council will waste no time in deliberating on the modalities for reconstruction and putting practical steps in place to ensure the long-awaited road project begins soon.
“Odogbawojo Road has been neglected for far too long. My administration is committed to ensuring that this road is reconstructed in the shortest possible time because we understand its importance to the people and the economy of this community,” he said.
The highly revered monarch, Oba Maruf Adelani Adeniyi, The Adegbajo of Odogbawojo, joined the inspection team and expressed appreciation to the chairman for his intervention.

“We are deeply grateful to Hon. Akinloye for coming personally to see the condition of this road. It shows his genuine concern and commitment to the progress of Odogbawojo.
This road is vital to our people, and we believe that with his assurance, change is on the way,” the royal father stated.
Residents of Odogbawojo also welcomed the development, describing the inspection as a positive step that rekindled their hope of finally seeing the road fixed after years of neglect.
Hon. Akinloye reaffirmed that service, action, and development remain the heartbeat of his administration, pledging continuous attention to grassroots needs.
