A private jet operated by Flybird Airlines crash landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Sunday morning, causing panic among passengers and airport users.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the aircraft, which arrived from Abuja, was carrying 11 passengers, including three crew members, when the incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m., eyewitnesses told Independent.
Eyewitnesses described tense moments at the airport as emergency procedures were immediately activated and passengers were evacuated from the aircraft shortly after the crash landing.
Despite the frightening nature of the incident, no injuries or casualties were recorded among those on board.
Airport authorities were said to have swiftly secured the affected area to prevent further risk, while emergency response teams were deployed to ensure the safety of passengers, crew members, and airport personnel.
Investigations into the cause of the crash landing commenced shortly after the incident, with aviation officials examining the aircraft and runway conditions.
As of the time of filing this report, the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria had yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
The crash landing comes just days after a Nigerian Air Force jet was involved in an accident near Karabonde in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The earlier incident was first reported by a Niger State based online digital television platform, Lapai TV, which shared the information on its official Facebook page on Saturday evening.
The post read, “Two Nigerian Air Force Pilots Reportedly Survive Alpha Jet Crash Close to Karabonde, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.”

Aviation authorities are expected to provide further details as investigations into both incidents continue.
