A colourful groundbreaking ceremony for the Boing Golf Estate was held in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, marking the official commencement of construction work on the proposed residential development.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the event attracted a high-powered delegation of traditional rulers, including His Royal Majesty Oba Razaq Waliu Olasunkanmi Oguntolu, the Onibeju of Ibeju; His Royal Majesty Oba Balogun Muhideen Adebowale, the Onisolu of Solu-Alade; and His Royal Majesty Oba Lukman Arowolo, the Gbadewolu of Araromi, all of whom graced the occasion in strong support of the project.
The delegation was received at the project site by the Managing Director of Boing Golf Estate, alongside other stakeholders, in a ceremony that signaled the beginning of a new phase of housing and infrastructural development in the area.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, described the project as a reflection of the council’s commitment to supporting credible private investors in delivering quality housing.
“This partnership is a testament to the commitment of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government to support credible private developers who are ready to deliver world-class estates that will provide decent housing and boost economic activities in our communities,” he said.
He added that the administration remains focused on creating an enabling environment for sustainable development, investment growth, and improved living standards for residents.
The traditional rulers also expressed their strong support for the project, noting that it aligns with the vision of sustainable growth, urban development, and prosperity for the people of Ibeju-Lekki.
According to stakeholders, the Boing Golf Estate is expected to feature modern residential units, green areas, recreational spaces, and essential infrastructure that will enhance the living experience within the community.
The ceremony ended with optimism from all parties, as the project is expected to further boost real estate development and economic activities in the rapidly growing Ibeju-Lekki axis.
