A Nigerian man staged a protest at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja, claiming the party abandoned him after he allegedly sold his house while working for its 2023 election campaigns.
The man, dressed in an APC-branded blue shirt, held a placard with the inscription, “Reward me or kill me,” as he moved around the entrance of the party’s headquarters.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a video of the incident surfaced on Facebook on Thursday night before gaining wider circulation on 𝕏, showing the man pacing near the gate, raising his placard and shouting toward the building while security personnel and bystanders watched.
Speaking in the video, he said, “I sold my house because of the debt I seemed to owe APC. Because of the work I worked for APC.”
When questioned by bystanders about who sent him, he pointed to his shirt and responded, “These are the people that sent me.”
He linked his actions to the party’s 2023 general election campaigns, insisting that his efforts had not been acknowledged or rewarded.
“This is the work I did for APC and at the end of it, no reward. Rather, the CSO threatened to shoot me and nothing will happen,” he said.
The man also claimed he could no longer afford his children’s education and had left them in the care of the party’s Chief Security Officer.
He said, “Since yesterday, my children, I don’t know where they are. I dropped my children with the CSO and APC because I cannot take care of them again. I cannot pay school fees anymore.”
His placard read, “All Progressives Congress. Reward me or kill me. I’m a party man and not a lunatic. I have lost so much for the party. I am depressed and my health is affected.”
The video, which lasted about 30 seconds, showed the man visibly distressed as he continued his protest at the secretariat gate.
No official of the party was seen addressing him in the footage, and the All Progressives Congress had not issued any statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
