- Ogunba-Koleowo said APSG would focus on five pillars: grassroots mobilisation, political education, youth empowerment, women inclusion, and leadership development
The Director-General of the APC Progressive Support Group (APSG–Itesiwaju), Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Ogunba-Koleowo, has officially launched the “Asiwaju Le’kan Si 2027” movement, describing it as a strategic step toward consolidating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general election, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Speaking at the group’s National Inaugural Ceremony in Lagos, Ogunba-Koleowo said the initiative represents more than a political gathering, calling it a defining moment in efforts to sustain and deepen the reforms of the current administration.

The event attracted party leaders, public office holders, royal fathers, APC national and state executives, women and youth leaders, and supporters from across the country.
According to her, the launch signals the beginning of a coordinated nationwide mobilisation campaign aimed at strengthening grassroots structures and building political momentum toward 2027. She described the theme, “2027 and Beyond – Preparation, Participation, Opportunities,” as both a call to action and a reaffirmation of commitment to the administration’s programmes.
Ogunba-Koleowo highlighted key government initiatives, including economic reforms, infrastructure expansion, youth empowerment schemes, and women-focused programmes, as indicators of progress under the current leadership. She referenced major projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, rail modernisation efforts, port upgrades, and nationwide road construction.
On youth development, she cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, and the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) initiative, describing them as critical tools for expanding access to education, digital skills, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

She also acknowledged women empowerment initiatives, including the Nigeria for Women Programme Scale-Up (NFWP-SU) and the Renewed Hope Initiative led by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Outlining the group’s strategy, Ogunba-Koleowo said APSG would focus on five pillars: grassroots mobilisation, political education, youth empowerment, women inclusion, and leadership development. Plans include establishing ward-level committees across the country, deploying digital mobilisation platforms, and organising “Renewed Hope Caravans” to engage communities through town hall meetings and rallies.
The group aims to register at least 10 million supporters by 2027 through coordinated outreach and membership drives.
Describing the campaign as a people-driven movement, she urged members to expand voter education efforts and strengthen participation at the community level, stressing that the objective is to build on ongoing reforms and ensure continuity beyond 2027.
