Portable insisted that many of the punches he landed should have been counted by the judges and argued that the organizers “did ojoro” to ensure his loss.
The loss marks a significant turn for Portable, who had entered the ring boasting that he would secure a third belt after previous victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.

Carter Efe, however, utilized his physical advantages to land cleaner punches and control the pace of the contest across all three rounds.
In his post-match outburst, Portable shifted focus to his personal life, revealing that his wife had just given birth to a son and asserting that while a belt can be bought, a child is a priceless blessing that he values more than any sporting title.
