The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Areh Abdulhamid, has been honoured with an appointment as Supervisor for Budget, Information and Strategy in the newly constituted cabinet of the council.

Eko Hot Blog reports that his appointment formed part of the swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed political office holders held at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat, where the Executive Chairman, Hon. Wale Raji Anomo, officially inaugurated the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisors, and Special Advisers.
Areh Abdulhamid, who has served diligently as the CPS to the Chairman, has been widely acknowledged for his dedication, professionalism, and strategic communication efforts in promoting the policies, programmes, and developmental achievements of the council.
Reacting to his appointment, Abdulhamid expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman for the confidence reposed in him, describing the new role as an opportunity to deepen his service to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
“I am sincerely grateful to our visionary Chairman, Hon. Wale Raji Anomo, for this honour and the trust he has placed in me.
This appointment is a call to greater service, and I am committed to doing even more to support the administration’s vision for growth, development, and prosperity in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” he said.
He further pledged to work closely with other members of the cabinet to strengthen policy implementation, information management, and strategic planning in order to advance the development agenda of the council.
Also sworn in during the ceremony was Adesanya Adedotun, who was appointed Supervisor for Revenue, Transport and Market Affairs.
His appointment is expected to strengthen the council’s efforts toward improving revenue generation, enhancing transportation coordination, and ensuring better management of markets within the LCDA.
Adedotun expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the opportunity to serve and assured residents that he would discharge his responsibilities with dedication, transparency, and commitment to the growth of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
