The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Wale Raji Anomo, has officially sworn in the newly appointed Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisors and Special Advisers at the Council Secretariat in a ceremony that attracted prominent political leaders and stakeholders across the LCDA.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the swearing-in ceremony marked another milestone in the administration’s effort to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery within the council area.
Among dignitaries present at the event were the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Olusegun Olulade (Eleniyan), APC LG Chairman Wintu Ajenifuja, Apex Leader High Chief Adewale Martins, Badmus Muyideen, Chief Mrs. Tawa Adeaga, Mrs. Funmilayo Kudaisu, Leader of the House Hassan Mustapha, Deputy Leader Ganiyu Seleem, Chief of Staff Jaiyesimi Ibrahim, and Mrs. Esther Adekoya, among other party leaders and stakeholders.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman, Hon. Wale Raji Anomo, described the occasion as a significant step in the political and administrative history of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
He emphasized that his administration remains committed to inclusive governance and collective progress.
“The occasion marks another milestone in the history of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
Our government is for everyone, and we are determined to carry every stakeholder along in our journey toward development,” he said.
Hon. Anomo noted that the newly appointed officials earned their positions through loyalty, dedication and proven commitment to the growth of the council.
According to him, their appointments were carefully considered to ensure balanced representation across the wards.
“Your hard work and loyalty have earned you this honour. Every leader is watching and we recognize sincerity and commitment.
Some of you have contributed immensely to the development of the council, while others are continuing the legacies of hardworking parents who served this community diligently,” he added.
The Chairman explained that the primary responsibility of the new appointees is to support the leadership of the council in delivering impactful governance to the people.
“Your role is to work closely with the Chairman and Vice Chairman to ensure progress, growth and prosperity across the LCDA.
You have been assigned responsibilities based on your competence and experience as reflected in your credentials,” Anomo stated.
He further urged the appointees to remain committed to the development agenda of the council while aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Hon. Anomo also expressed appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Hon. Hakeem Shittu, Hon. Olusegun Olulade, Mama Adekoya and Baba Bamu for their continued support and sacrifices toward the development of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Epe Division, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
In his remarks, Hon. Olusegun Olulade (Eleniyan) commended the Chairman for his leadership and dedication to the progress of the council.
He also called on residents to begin preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
“Everyone should ensure they have their voter cards ready ahead of the 2027 elections. Ikosi-Ejinrin must deliver tangible votes for the party at all levels including the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Governorship and the Senate,” he said.
Olulade also advised the newly sworn-in officials to remain loyal and supportive to the Chairman and Vice Chairman while promoting the achievements of the administration.
The oath of office was administered by Barr. Dakota Alebiosu, the Chairman and Leader of the Legislative Arm of the council.
Those sworn in include Anjorin Lookman as Secretary to the Local Government; Babatunde Yusuf as Supervisor for Works; Areh Abdulhamid as Supervisor for Budget, Information and Strategy; Sulaimon Yusuf as Supervisor for Education; Rosanne Felix as Supervisor for Environment; Abbas Saheed as Supervisor for Agriculture; Akisanya Adewale as Supervisor for ICT; Adegoke Emmanuel as Supervisor for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs; Onaneye Adetutu as Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; Wahab Qudus as Supervisor for Health; Adekoya Taiyo as Supervisor for Tourism, Arts and Culture; Ajewole Olamiji as Supervisor for Youth and Sports; Adesanya Adedotun as Supervisor for Revenue, Transport and Market Affairs; and Raji Olusegun as Supervisor for Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs.
Also appointed were several Special Advisers including Onanuga Titilope (Budget), Oguniyi Jamiu (Education), Lawal Wasiu (Environment), Kunle Akintola (Agriculture), Bakare Omoshalewa (Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation), Dabiri Ronke (Health), Adeshina Oluwaseyi (Tourism, Arts and Culture), and Adekoya Gbenga (Youth and Sports).
The ceremony concluded with prayers and goodwill messages from party leaders and stakeholders who expressed optimism that the new team would contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
