Meanwhile, Iranian security authorities reported the arrest of at least 20 individuals in the country’s northwest over allegations of collaborating with Israel.

According to local media, the suspects were detained during coordinated operations in West Azerbaijan Province.
Provincial prosecutor Hossein Majidi, cited by the Fars News Agency, said the detainees were accused of passing sensitive information about military, law enforcement and security installations to what he described as Israel.
The arrests are part of wider security crackdowns across Iran. Reports from local outlets indicate that in recent days authorities have detained hundreds of people suspected of having links to Israel or the United States.

The latest developments come amid a deepening regional conflict that began on February 28 following joint military strikes by the United States and Israel.
The attacks reportedly resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, prompting retaliatory actions from Tehran and escalating tensions across the Middle East.
