Israeli Raids Leave 5 Dead, 19 Injured
A devastating series of Israeli airstrikes have ripped through central Syria on Sunday, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake.
The state-run Syrian news agency, SANA, reported that five people lost their lives and at least 19 others were injured in the brutal attack.
The airstrikes triggered a frenzy of explosions and air defense engagements in the Tartous and Hama governorates, resulting in multiple civilian casualties.

The Syrian military source described the assault as an “air aggression” launched from northwest Lebanon, targeting military sites in the central region.
Despite the carnage, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) remained tight-lipped, refusing to comment on the report when questioned by CNN.
In contrast, the Syrian news agency provided a detailed account of the devastation, including the interception and downing of some missiles by Syrian air defenses.
The human toll was starkly evident in the words of Dr. Faisal Haidar, director of the National Hospital in Masyaf, who described some of the injured as being in “critical condition.”
The airstrikes also caused significant infrastructure damage, including the Wadi al-Uyun highway in Masyaf and a raging fire that firefighters struggled to contain.
The attack has left Syria reeling, and the international community is watching with bated breath as the situation continues to unfold.
