Popular Nigerian singer Kingsley Okonkwo, widely known as Kcee, has finally addressed his long-speculated fallout with highlife sensation Flavour, offering fresh insights into what may have triggered the tension between them.

Speaking in an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Kcee revisited their first encounter, revealing that talent manager Soso Soberekon once introduced Flavour to him for a potential record deal many years ago. He said he declined because he did not see the necessary spark at the time.
Kcee insisted that his decision not to sign Flavour was not the root of their rift, noting that insecurity often arises when artists least expect others to grow beyond perceived limits.

He added that many in the industry had underestimated his abilities due to his humility, only to later apologise as his career continued to flourish.
The “Limpopo” singer stressed that he holds no grudges and believes time will eventually clarify the true cause of the perceived tension, maintaining that his work and consistency continue to silence doubters.
