U.S. President Donald Trump has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of delaying progress on a Washington-backed peace plan intended to end the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Trump’s remarks came after American and Ukrainian officials wrapped up a three-day negotiation aimed at narrowing the gap between both sides on the proposed agreement.

Speaking to reporters in Washington, Trump expressed disappointment that Zelenskyy had yet to fully review the proposal, claiming Ukrainian negotiators were more receptive to it than their leader.

He added that Russia appeared open to the initiative, despite President Vladimir Putin previously criticising aspects of the plan.
Trump, who has repeatedly argued that Ukraine should make territorial concessions to Moscow, has maintained a tense relationship with Zelenskyy since returning to office with a pledge to reduce U.S. spending on the war.
Zelenskyy, however, noted that he had received a detailed briefing from delegates and reaffirmed Ukraine’s willingness to keep negotiating in good faith.
