The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Mrs Adebisi Adelabu as General Manager of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), weeks after initially rejecting her nomination.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the confirmation was announced during plenary on Monday, following what lawmakers described as months of legislative scrutiny.

Adelabu’s earlier nomination had been turned down over alleged irregularities. However, the Assembly has now approved her appointment after further review.

Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, who presided over the session, said the confirmation was in line with Section 92 of the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.
Obasa noted that members of the Assembly found her qualified and suitable for the position after due consideration.
