The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, has called on entrepreneurs, business owners, and innovators within the council area to take advantage of a newly launched Federal Government funding initiative aimed at supporting small businesses across Nigeria.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative, introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria, will provide grants totaling ₦1 billion to support 100 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as part of efforts to stimulate economic growth, encourage innovation, and strengthen local enterprise development.

In a statement released by the Media Office of the Chairman, Kasali emphasized that the programme aligns with his administration’s commitment to empowering businesses and promoting economic prosperity within Lekki and beyond.
“This initiative is designed to empower businesses, stimulate innovation, and strengthen local enterprise development—values that align with our administration’s commitment to economic growth and community prosperity,” he stated.
The chairman urged all eligible residents to seize the opportunity by applying promptly, noting that such interventions are crucial in boosting visibility, scaling operations, and enhancing competitiveness at both local and national levels.
