In response, Musk demanded immediate sanctions against Malema and urged global leaders to take action.
Reacting on social media, Malema dismissed Musk’s criticism, calling him a “spoiled brat” and a “direct beneficiary of Apartheid whiteness.” He accused Musk of being ignorant about racial issues, saying, “I know black people look the same to you, typical racist. Look closer, and you will realise those are two different people.”
Malema further stated that he was not intimidated by Musk’s call for sanctions. “I don’t care about your sanctions; I will never stop fighting for black people to be equal to white people. If that makes me an international criminal, I am proud to be one,” he tweeted.
The public feud has sparked fresh debates on Malema’s rhetoric and Musk’s growing involvement in South African politics.
While some support Malema’s stance on racial equality, others criticize his remarks as divisive.
Musk, born in South Africa, has been vocal about political issues in the country, especially regarding land reform and racial tensions.
