In a personal statement shared on his official X account, Eko Hot Blog gathered that the Israeli leader said the announcement was delayed due to the country’s ongoing security situation, noting that he wanted to avoid the information being misused during a sensitive period.

According to him, the condition was discovered early during routine medical checks following a previous procedure for an enlarged prostate about a year and a half ago.

He explained that doctors identified a small abnormal growth, less than one centimetre in size, which was later confirmed to be an early-stage cancer that had not spread.
Netanyahu said he was presented with different treatment options but chose immediate medical intervention to address the issue.
“I prefer to act quickly when faced with potential risks,” he stated, adding that the treatment was successful and the condition has been completely resolved.
