Jibril asserted that Northern communities have emerged as prime beneficiaries of central government initiatives designed to uplift socio-economic conditions.
He cited key interventions such as the student loan scheme (NELFUND), the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative, the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) energy transition, and the National Apprenticeship and Technical Education Programme (NATEP) as life-changing policies directly helping Northern families.
Addressing ongoing efforts by opposition leaders, including Atiku Abubakar (ADC), Peter Obi (NDC), and Donald Duke (PRP), to build a joint electoral platform, Jibril dismissed their maneuvers as harmless to the ruling party.
He challenged opposition figures to match the administration’s record of tangible achievements rather than relying on political rhetoric.
Representing the Grand Patron of RHP-2027 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, Senior Special Assistant Prof. Babatunde Bernard reiterated that the 2027 campaign will be driven by factual governance metrics.
Akume noted that President Tinubu took on tough structural reforms, pointing to local government financial autonomy, security sector re-tooling, and foreign direct investment growth as visible markers of progress.
Meanwhile, RHP-2027 Director-General Dauda Salihu confirmed the group’s readiness to push this achievement-based narrative directly to rural communities.
In a related development in Pankshin, Plateau State, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda declared that the Federal Government is actively delivering on its promises across the North-Central zone.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit, alongside Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Joseph Ufser, Yilwatda revealed that over 500 kilometers of federal road projects are currently under construction across Plateau State, including the Maraban Jama’a–Kanke–Shendam–Ibi corridor.
Minister Ufser also announced federal approvals for a multipurpose dam project at Gele in Kanke Local Government Area to drive irrigation and municipal water supply, as well as final funding approvals to complete the long-abandoned Gindiri Dam in Mangu within six months.
In response, the traditional ruler commended President Tinubu for his commitment to Plateau State and offered prayers for national unity and economic progress.
