The immediate past Chairman of Agege Local Government Area, Ganiyu Egunjobi, and Azeez Ninalowo have emerged winners of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly primaries for Agege Constituencies I and II respectively.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the primaries, held on Wednesday across various wards in Agege, witnessed a large turnout of party members and stakeholders.

According to a statement issued by Egunjobi’s media aide, Rotimi Sulyman, Egunjobi secured 10,126 votes, while Ninalowo polled 12,455 votes to emerge victorious in their respective constituencies.
Both candidates had earlier emerged as consensus aspirants during a caucus meeting presided over by the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, on Tuesday.
Party sources disclosed that Obasa’s endorsement played a major role in strengthening support for the candidates ahead of the primary election.
Supporters of the APC reportedly participated actively in the ward-based exercise, openly identifying with their preferred aspirants during the voting process.
The primaries were also streamed live on social media platforms, while officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission monitored the exercise.
Security operatives, including personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, were deployed to maintain peace and order during the process.

The exercise was conducted without any reported violence, disruption or electoral malpractice.
Observers and party stakeholders commended the conduct of the primaries, describing the process as peaceful, transparent and democratic.
Following the announcement of the results, supporters of both candidates reportedly flooded major streets across Agege in celebration, expressing optimism that the candidates would deliver quality representation and sustain development within the constituencies.
