The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has not withdrawn his lawsuit against the legislative body, despite a recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu and other lawmakers at the State House.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that at the resumed court hearing on Monday, members of the Assembly were taken aback to find that Obasa, who was reinstated as Speaker, is still pursuing legal action against the institution he leads.
A lawmaker, speaking anonymously to Western Post, expressed shock over Obasa’s decision to proceed with the case, despite interventions from President Tinubu and other senior political figures, including Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Olusegun Osoba.

According to reports, Tinubu had urged Lagos lawmakers to cooperate with Obasa while instructing the Speaker to drop his lawsuit against the Assembly and Deputy Speaker Mojisola Meranda. However, Obasa remains resolute in his legal battle, defying expectations of reconciliation.
