A commercial motorcyclist has lost his life in a tragic road accident along the Ososa axis of the Sagamu–Benin Expressway in Ogun State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the incident, confirmed by the spokesperson of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, involved a Howo truck and a Bajaj motorcycle.

According to him, three people were involved in the crash; two occupants of the truck and the motorcyclist. While the truck occupants escaped unhurt, the motorcyclist, who was alone on the bike, died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Preliminary findings revealed that the accident occurred when the rider attempted a U-turn without properly checking for oncoming vehicles, leading to a collision with the truck.

Emergency responders, including TRACE officials and police officers, arrived promptly at the scene. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead by a doctor. His remains were later deposited at the General Hospital morgue in Ijebu Ode.
The vehicles involved have been cleared from the road and taken to the Odogbolu Police Division as investigations continue.
