For many residents who depend on late-night movement for work or business, the arrest comes as a relief in an area where robbery incidents have raised concerns in recent times.
According to police spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi, the suspects; Abdullahi Mustapha (20), Salisu Sannusi (30), and Jamiu Sahidu (26)—were searched and found with a machete, an army camouflage uniform, mobile phones, a power bank, and cash suspected to have been stolen from victims.
A motorcycle believed to have been used in their operations was also recovered.

Preliminary investigations suggest the suspects had been targeting unsuspecting residents before escaping on motorcycles after their attacks.
The Commissioner of Police, Tijani Fatai, described the arrest as part of ongoing efforts to make communities safer, noting that patrols and intelligence-led policing will continue across the state.
He also urged residents to stay alert and report suspicious activities, assuring that the command remains committed to protecting lives and property.
The suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue.
