The Peoples Democratic Party has scheduled its 103rd National Executive Committee meeting for Monday, May 4, 2026, as part of preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party announced the meeting in a statement published on its official social media platforms on Saturday, noting that it will hold at 2:00 pm.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to the notice, the meeting was convened following a resolution supported by a two-thirds majority of NEC members, in line with provisions of the party’s constitution guiding its internal operations.
Attendance is restricted to statutory members of the NEC. Those expected include PDP governors, members of the National Assembly caucus, members of the Board of Trustees, state party chairmen, and national ex-officio members.
Also invited are former members of the National Working Committee, past governors elected on the party’s platform, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other designated stakeholders within the NEC structure.
The party stated that the meeting would provide an opportunity to review key issues affecting its structure and overall direction.
It added that discussions would focus on strengthening unity, improving internal processes, and positioning the party ahead of the next general elections.
The statement read, “In accordance with the PDP Constitution, attendance to the 103rd meeting is strictly for statutory members of the National Executive Committee.

“NEC remains dedicated to the stability, unity and success of the PDP guided by the principles of internal democracy, party discipline, inclusivity of members and the pursuit of the wellbeing of the Nigerian people as we march to victory in the 2027 general elections.”
