Members of Eko Club Houston, in Texas U.S.A., mourned the passing of a club icon, Hon. Larry, as they pay homage to his memory and commiserate with his family at his residence.

Hon. Larry, an integral member of Eko Club Houston, who has contributed to the growth of the club in various capacity, reportedly passed-on on Friday, July 18th, 2025.
During the visit, Otunba Akindoju opened the floor as he offered a solemn prayer, and prayed for comfort and fortitude for the immeasurable loss.
Furthermore, Otunba Tajudeen Gbenga Abass, one of the members of the elders and upper echelon of the club, stressed that Hon. Larry was “an integral part of our successes and a cornerstone of the community. ”
Hon. Olumide King also offered words of comfort as he recalled the admirable and noble qualities of late Hon. Larry, stressing that his legacy will forever be remembered by all.
More so, Hon. Tunde Bashorun, the General Secretary of the Club, delivered a heartfelt condolence message.
He assured the family of the organization’s continued support and urged them to hold on to their faith—the same faith that has sustained them through life’s many trials.
In addition, Hon. Diran Willoughby offered a moving prayer of condolence, expressing both divine reassurance and the club’s steadfast support, honoring Larry’s nearly 25 years of unwavering dedication to Eko Club.
The visitation was more than just a gathering, but a show of solidarity, unity and empathy, a hall mark of what Eko Club Houston truly stands for.
