According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Alonso has marked the midfield as a top priority for strengthening, and both Argentine stars have emerged as his leading targets.

Despite interest in other players like Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller, Enzo and Mac Allister are said to be his preferred options for bringing balance and creativity to the squad.

However, luring the Premier League-based players away from England will not come easy. Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly reluctant to part ways with their prized assets unless a huge offer is made.
Fernandez is currently valued at around €75.5 million, while Mac Allister tops the list of most valuable Argentine players with an estimated market worth of €110.5 million.
With a transfer budget capped at €100 million for this position, Real Madrid might face tough negotiations in the weeks ahead.
