Reps Summon EFCC, ICPC, Others Over Non-remittance Of Housing Funds
Eko Hot Blog reports that the House of Representatives has summoned the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan and the Accountant-General of the Federation, Oluwatoyin Madein, to appear before its Committee.
The Chairman of the Ad hoc Committee on the Non-remittance of the National Housing Fund (NHF) and the utilisation of the fund from 2011, Dachung Bagos, stated this in a memo in Abuja on Saturday.

Bagos said the Committee had fixed Wednesday, August 23, to begin the investigative hearing into the non-remittance and the utilisation of the fund.
The lawmaker from Plateau State said the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, would inaugurate the committee on Wednesday, and it would begin its work.
He said others invited for the hearing are the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), the Auditor-General of the Federation, the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Surveyor-General of the Federation.
Bagos also urged the affected institutions and government officials to submit memorandums and other relevant documents to the committee’s secretariat.
