The Federal Fire Service Headquarters in Abuja hosted a landmark courtesy visit today as retired Controller Generals met with the newly appointed head of the Service, Samuel Adeyemi Olumode.
According to Eko Hot Blog, the retired Controller Generals, including Engr. James, Olusegun Okebiorun, Engr. Joseph Garba Anebi, and Dr. Alhaji, Liman Ibrahim, congratulated CG Olumode on his appointment.

They urged him to prioritize staff welfare, continue existing reforms, and strengthen fire prevention and response capabilities nationwide.
The former chiefs also emphasized the need to reduce response times, modernize equipment, and expand public safety awareness to build a culture of fire prevention across communities.

In his response, CG Olumode expressed his deep gratitude for the support and guidance from his predecessors, pledging to build on their legacies.
Olumode also committed to implementing modern fire safety measures to make the country safer for all citizens.
