Rotary District 9111 Announces Installation Date For District Governor-elect Oluwole Kukoyi

The Rotary District 9111 is set to install its first district governor.
Oluwole Kukoyi will take the reins of the district from early July 2024.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Ota.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Rotary District 9111 has announced that Oluwole Kukoyi will be installed as the District Governor on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

In a video released by the district, it said the event will start by 11am.

Kukoyi’s installation will hold at the Balmoral Covention Centre, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.

He was recently elected as the First District Governor of the Rotary District 9111.

The Rotary District 9111 is one of two districts, alongside District 9112, that evolved from Rotary International District 9110, which covers Lagos and Ogun State.

Both new districts — 9111 and 9112 — will be official from July 1, 2024, according their parent district, District 9110.

In April, Rotary District 9111 held its presidents-elect Training Seminar (PETS) at Orchid Hotel, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ikota, Lagos State.

The district said the PETS training for elected club presidents, including Kukoyi, was for leadership capacity-building.

WHO IS OLUWOLE KUKOYI

Kukoyi is a General Physician. He graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1980 with a MB.BS. degree. He was the best graduating student in Neurosurgery and Psychiatry.

He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Business School of Netherland. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics Ultrasound from King’s College Hospital and Abdominal Ultrasound from Thomas Jefferson University Ultrasound Institute.

The Rotary District 9111 governor-elect began his career with the State General Hospital Ota, Ogun State and later State General Hospital Ilaro, Ogun State. He has been in private practice since 1989.

According to Kukoyi’s biography, he has attended several local and international conferences/seminars and has delivered lectures at such gatherings around the world.

Also, he is a former Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association; Ogun State Chapter and he is a member of World Association of Family Doctors (WONCA) and American Association of Family Physicians.

Furthermore, Kukoyi has over 39 years experience in General Practice.

Additionally, he is the Chief Medical Director of Ace Medicare Clinics Ltd., Idiroko road, Ogun State.

Presently, Kukoyi is the Chairman Emeritus of Molusi College Old Students Association (MOCOSA) Global.

In April 2023, the Rotary District 9111 governor-elect, through his Ace Medicare Clinics Ltd, hosted a Free Medical Outreach in Ota, Ogun State, in collaboration with the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA).
