Sheik Ashimiyu Lauds Alhaja Wakilat, Al-Iman Islamic Humanitarian Development in Osogbo

Al-Imam Sheik Ashimiyu Sulaiman Abimbola, Chief Imam of Alagboole Central Mosque Osogbo, Osun State, lauds Alhaja Wakilat Omowunmi Ashiru Tantoolorun and the Al-Iman International Prayer Group, at the grand unveiling of a new Al-Iman Mosque and Dawah Centre in Osogbo.
Al-Iman International Prayer Group held her 2025 International programme at Al-Iman Mosque and Dawah Centre on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Ayekale, Osogbo Osun State.
The event had a series of programmes lined up, including the official unveiling of the Al-Iman Mosque, the turbaning of imams, and the flag-off of a new classroom structure, among many other programmes.

At the close of the event, Al-Iman Sheik Ashimiyu Sulaiman Abimbola expressed his excitement at the development by identifying the significance of the projects and their impact on Muslim society, while acknowledging the efforts of Alhaja Wakilat and the Al-Iman International Prayer Group.
“I am using this moment to congratulate all Muslims and Alhaja Wakilat Omowunmi, because its not everyone that embarks on a project that finishes it; it’s not all our thoughts and aspirations that come to fruition.”He said.
If one starts something, should conclude it or work towards his/her aspiration and achieve it; its only God that made that possible and had approved it.”He added.
Furthermore, Sheik Ashimiyu offered special prayers and well wishes to alhaja Wakilat Omowunmi Ashiru Tantoolorun and the Al-Iman International Prayer Group, citing that it was a noble contribution to the cause of Islam.
“I am using this moment to pray for Alhaja Wakilat Omawunmi Tantoolorun; this is a lesson and encouragement to all that want to contribute to humanity; she traveled oversea and yet she never forgets her home and continues to do good.
Also, he advised other persons to follow in the footsteps of Alhaja Wakilat, emulate, and replicate her good deeds to build lasting legacies.

“… anyone that needs a good example to follow should follow in the footsteps of Alhaja Wakilat. How many learners of Islamic knowledge without the aid of Alhaja Wakilah? … She covers the bills on uniforms, feeding, and transportation for their logistics and learning. It’s only God that can reward her handsomely.”
“Therefore, everyone… should emulate her virtious lifestyle; life is short, and all is vanity upon vanity; it will all be tales in years to come; Alhaja Wakilat is building a legacy that will last forever.”
Alhaja Wakilat and Al-Iman Prayer Group International, may God be with them and all the members of the group. I pray that God continues to uplift them all.” He added.

Sheik Ashimiyu concluded by recognizing the strong pillar of support behind Alhaja Wakilat’s deeds and ecouraged them to continue giving their support and cooperation, while advising the fresh graduates of the day to seek out more avenues and ensure that they never stop learning.
“One tree cannot make a forest, so I pray that Alhaja Wakilat and her board members, who have been supporting her on various projects, continue to get divine upliftment from Almighty Allah.” He said.
“To all the graduates today, they should not relax, thinking that they have completed Islamic learning; they should strive forward…” He added.
