Shettima, Remi Tinubu Present As Senate Holds Valedictory Session

The 9th Senate is holding its final sitting and valedictory session in the National Assembly.

The session was postponed to Saturday due to a meeting between President Bola Tinubu and National Assembly members-elect.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, Oluremi Tinubu, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, and Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege received their certificates of legislative service.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the 9th Senate is currently holding its last sitting and its valedictory session in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly.
The valedictory session was earlier fixed for Thursday but was postponed till Saturday because of a meeting President Bola Tinubu had with the National Assembly members-elect.

Present at the ceremony are Vice President Kashim Shettima and the wife of the President, Oluremi Tinubu, who are both members of the Ninth Senate.
Some of the activities lined up are the presentation of “Certificates of Legislative Service” to the Senators by the Clerk of the Senate, Chinedu Akubueze.
