President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and other dignitaries are expected to attend the 8th Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS 2025), scheduled to hold from 11 to 13 November 2025 at the State House, Abuja.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the summit, convened by NiDCOM in collaboration with the Nigeria Diaspora Summit Initiative (NDSI), carries the theme: “Fast Tracking Regional & National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment.”

The hybrid event will bring together diaspora Nigerians – investors, business leaders, and policymakers – through keynote addresses, investment pitches, exhibitions, and networking sessions, connecting the Nigerian global community with viable opportunities across strategic economic sectors.
Speaking on the summit’s objectives, Dabiri-Erewa said, “The Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit continues to be a catalyst for change, connecting our diaspora to tangible investment prospects and sustainable partnerships that drive economic growth, create jobs, and inspire national development.”
The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Bartholomew Nnaji, former Minister of Power and current Chairman of Geometric Power Limited, while Mr. Temi Popoola, Group Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Exchange Group, will discuss innovative investment frameworks.
Key financial institutions have committed to the summit, with Zenith Bank Plc as lead event partner, alongside Rainbow Heritage Group (RHG), AG Mortgage Bank Plc, and First Bank of Nigeria Limited.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ngozi Onyemuwa Anyogu, Managing Director/CEO of AG Mortgage Bank Plc, highlighted the importance of channeling remittances positively into the local economy, noting that over 17 million Nigerians in diaspora remit more than $20 billion annually. AGMB aims to provide financial solutions for diaspora Nigerians, including property investment and community development.
