EKO HOT BLOG reports that Enitan was sworn in during a brief ceremony held at the State House on Thursday, following the retirement of his predecessor, Didi Esther Walson Jack.
Walson Jack left office after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60, in line with the regulations governing the Federal Civil Service.
Enitan, who is from Osun State, was the most senior Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service before his appointment as Head of the Civil Service.
He spent seven years and seven months serving as a Permanent Secretary across various government institutions.
During his career in the federal government, Enitan served in several ministries and offices, gaining experience across different areas of public administration.
His previous postings included the Ministry of Police Affairs, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, the Office of the Vice President and the Federal Ministry of Education.
With his appointment, Enitan becomes the new administrative head of the Federal Civil Service following the retirement of Walson Jack.
