She revealed that her past was marked by uncontrollable anger, which strained relationships and blocked opportunities.
“There was a time my temper could destroy everything. I confused pain for strength, but it only brought destruction,” she wrote.

Dikeh said her turning point came when she fully surrendered to God, who replaced her anger with calm and clarity. She also opened up about experiencing severe depression and emotional trauma, recalling moments when she felt consumed by sorrow and even attempted suicide.
“I lived as both the wound and the weapon. Pain and depression were constant until God called me to rise — and I did,” she shared.
As part of her healing, Dikeh said she now responds to others with compassion rather than judgment, recognizing that many are acting from a place of hurt.

“When I see pain in others, I don’t judge — I pray. I understand how it feels to lose yourself trying to survive,” she said.
She also revealed her decision to embrace celibacy, turning away from sexual immorality in her renewed walk with God.
Reflecting on her spiritual journey, Tonto added, “I gave my life to Christ after secondary school, but it took life’s hardships to bring me back to His love.”
