Diddy was arrested by federal agents in New York in September 2024, following a grand jury indictment. He has remained in custody since his arrest.
His conviction marks one of the most high-profile celebrity prosecutions in recent years, coming after months of investigation and multiple civil lawsuits alleging misconduct.

The former Bad Boy Records founder, known for his influence on 1990s hip-hop and R&B, will serve his sentence in a federal correctional facility before his anticipated release in May 2028.
Neither Diddy’s legal representatives nor his family have issued an official statement regarding the Bureau’s release schedule.
