Nigerian players were among the standout performers across Europe at the weekend, with several Super Eagles stars making decisive contributions for their clubs.
In Spain, Umar Sadiq was on target as Valencia CF secured a 2-0 away victory over Levante UD at the Estadi Ciutat de València.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that after Largie Ramazani opened the scoring, Sadiq sealed the win in the 84th minute. The striker outmuscled Matías Moreno in an aerial contest before driving forward and finishing past the goalkeeper. It marked his first LaLiga goal since rejoining the club in January and his second in three matches. His previous league goal had come on April 19, 2025, during his earlier spell at Valencia. The win lifted Valencia out of the relegation zone, while Levante remained seven points from safety.
In England, Alex Iwobi reached a personal milestone as Fulham FC defeated Stoke City 2-1 in the FA Cup at the Bet365 Stadium.
Iwobi completed the full 90 minutes to register his 100th appearance for Fulham, becoming the 183rd player to reach that mark for the club. Since his 2023 move from Everton for €25.7 million, the 29-year-old has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists, establishing himself as a key player under Marco Silva.
At Molineux, Tolu Arokodare featured for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 1-0 FA Cup win over Grimsby Town. Although he did not score, the forward recorded three efforts inside the box as Wolves advanced to the fifth round.
In Belgium, Raphael Onyedika played the full match as Club Brugge claimed a 2-1 away win against Cercle Brugge to maintain pressure near the top of the table.

In Italy, Maduka Okoye featured in goal as Udinese Calcio lost 2-1 at home to US Sassuolo. Meanwhile, Gift Orban was sent off 11 minutes into Hellas Verona’s defeat to Parma.
