Georgia international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has joined Paris Saint-Germain from Italian league leaders Napoli, the French champions announced on Friday. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.
“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to confirm the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia,” the club said in a statement. “The 23-year-old winger, who will don the number seven jersey, becomes the first Georgian player in PSG’s history.”

The move comes a day after Kvaratskhelia shared an emotional video on social media, bidding farewell to Napoli fans and saying, “It’s hard for me, but it’s time to say goodbye.”
A pivotal figure in Napoli’s 2023 Scudetto triumph, Kvaratskhelia joined the club in 2022 from Dinamo Batumi in what was hailed as a bargain transfer. The Georgian winger quickly established himself as a star, earning the Serie A Player of the Season award that year.
