- Trump dismisses renewed Epstein interest as a “Democrat scam”
- Says past supporters are “weaklings” for believing the “bullshit”

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a fiery attack on critics and former allies over resurfaced interest in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Trump, in a lengthy post on Truth Social, labelled the entire Epstein controversy a “hoax” orchestrated by Democrats and the media to damage his reputation ahead of the 2024 elections.
He compared the uproar to the Steele Dossier, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and alleged Russian interference, calling it recycled fiction by what he described as “the Radical Left”.
Trump said, “These scams and hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at. They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates.”
He lashed out at past supporters who he said had bought into the latest accusations “hook, line, and sinker,” branding them “weaklings” and distancing himself from them.
In the statement, Trump declared: “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats’ work… I don’t want their support anymore!”
Trump’s rant followed a July memo from the U.S. Department of Justice, which found no incriminating Epstein “client list” or evidence of blackmail against powerful elites.
The memo stated that Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in a Brooklyn jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking minors.
For years, MAGA loyalists and conspiracy theorists believed the Epstein files would expose high-profile Democrats and Hollywood elites involved in a paedophile ring.
Trump had previously promised to declassify the files, with allies like Kash Patel and Dan Bongino campaigning for full transparency on right-wing media platforms.
In February, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi handed out binders of “declassified” Epstein documents to influencers, which were later revealed to contain little new information.
Bondi blamed the FBI for withholding key files and ordered Patel to locate the missing documents. But internal tensions began to grow.
In June, Elon Musk stirred controversy by suggesting that Trump may be implicated in the files, a claim he later deleted without evidence.

The backlash intensified within the MAGA base, leading to calls for Bondi’s resignation and fresh divisions within Trump’s support network.
Despite the chaos, Trump insists the files are another distraction from what he calls his “unprecedented” success as president.
