The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said the action was taken due to activities that caused pollution and environmental nuisance.
According to him, Kings Court was sealed after an unlicensed borehole driller discharged sand and waste materials into a drainage channel, leading to blockage and overflow of wastewater onto nearby roads.
Wealth Hotel, on the other hand, was shut down after authorities received multiple verified complaints about the discharge of faecal waste into the drainage system, a serious breach of environmental regulations.

The Lagos State Government has reiterated its call for residents and property owners to follow proper wastewater management practices to protect public health and the environment.
Authorities also warned that individuals and organisations found violating environmental laws will face sanctions, including possible prosecution.
